Masterpiece of the 12th and 13th centuries, the Cathedral Notre-Dame de Chartres is the most complete and best-preserved Gothic cathedral with its 4000 sculptures and 5000 characters on 2600 m2 of stained glass of that time. Made by Masters-glassmakers, these windows compose the richest collection of Europe with their age and beauty. They make a part of the World Heritage of UNESCO. CHARTRES EN LUMIERE: having become one of the major events in the city of Chartres since 2003, "Chartres in Lights" reveals 29 monuments and the most beautiful sites with the help of light and music. AQUATIC & ICE COMPLEX THE ODYSSEY : with more than 3500 m2 of water, the complex offers a 50m Olympic pool (with 10 swimming lanes!), a swimming pool of 25m, a training pool, spa jets and river flow swimming pool (the longest in Europe!). You will be happy to find a slide, a wave pool, some wading pools, external lagoons, beaches and solariums, beach volleyball grounds. There is also a skating rink with music, DJ nights and different events.
